It was a packed house at the Rago Auction Center for the HALT Talk Fundraiser to benefit both HALT PennEast and New Jersey Conservation Foundation. The night was rainy and cold, yet over 150 people showed up to hear Dr. Tullis Onstott, Professor of Geology at Princeton University, give a talk about arsenic in the soil and rock and how big a threat it is to build the PennEast natural gas transmission pipeline through the arsenic hot spot of New Jersey.
Our communities are thankful for the work that Dr. Onstott and Dr. Barringer have completed researching the conditions along the proposed PennEast pipeline in New Jersey and sending their data-filled report to FERC for the PennEast docket.
