Rally Against PennEast April 8th

Come one, come all to a rally for everyone opposed to the PennEast pipeline!  Dress up in colonial/revolutionary era clothes or come in your modern day attire to a rally event with a revolutionary theme -“No Certification without Justification”.  The family event includes a town crier, period costumes, a wagon stage, music, speakers, and more!   If you would like to participate as a volunteer, musician, or reenactor please email msyrnick@gmail.com with your contact info.

HALT Talk – Dr. Tullis Onstott

November 30, 2016 -Lambertville NJ

It was a packed house at the Rago Auction Center for the HALT Talk Fundraiser to benefit both HALT PennEast and New Jersey Conservation Foundation. The night was rainy and cold, yet over 150 people showed up to hear Dr. Tullis Onstott, Professor of Geology at Princeton University, give a talk about arsenic in the soil and rock and how big a threat it is to build the PennEast natural gas transmission pipeline through the arsenic hot spot of New Jersey.

Our communities are thankful for the work that Dr. Onstott and Dr. Barringer have completed researching the conditions along the proposed PennEast pipeline in New Jersey and sending their data-filled report to FERC for the PennEast docket.

HALT Talks Fundraiser with Tullis Onstott Nov. 30th.

In the spirit of TED talks, HALT PennEast and New Jersey Conservation Foundation are hosting an evening at the Rago Arts & Auction center, featuring a presentation by Professor Tullis Onstott, one Time Magazine’s most influential people in the world!  Professor Onstott will speak about his background and studies, focusing on how the PennEast pipeline project threatens to poison our water supplies by mobilizing naturally occurring arsenic, from the bed rock and soil into the water supplies.

Come and join us for a science based HALT Talk, sip some wine, enjoy an art preview for one of Rago’s upcoming sales, and taste some light fare provided by Hertzog Associates, a distinctive landscape design and build firm.

Your contributions will directly help HALT PennEast and NJCF build our funds to continue the fight to end the un-needed PennEast pipeline project.
